Olivia Mauricio RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Growing Therapist, Board Certified

Olivia Mauricio RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and growing therapist, offering comprehensive treatment to individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, and ADHD.

Through years of treating patients across the spectrum of mental illness, Olivia has developed an approach to care that is person-centered, compassionate, and creative. She understands the importance of a therapeutic relationship, and believes that treatment is most effective when tailored to each client’s unique needs. While this often includes medication management and psychotherapy, Olivia also believes wellness is an essential component to mental health.

While developing her practice, Olivia has received training in integrative practices and she provides care through a holistic lens with the goal of helping clients cultivate a healthy foundation alongside treating their mental illness. Evidenced-based integrative interventions, such as nutritional supplementation, may be incorporated into treatment.

Olivia aspires to create a comfortable and collaborative space for her clients, where they receive the support they need to prioritize their mental health as well as their overall wellbeing.

In addition to her specialized training, Olivia has comprehensive clinical experience. Her direct care roles vary from inpatient nursing for medically complex psychiatric patients, to community treatment for underserviced populations facing substance use. She holds both a Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University, where her academic excellence was recognized with the Sharon C. Redes Advanced Practice Nursing Award. Prior to nursing, Olivia worked in research at Brown University’s Behavioral and Preventive Medicine lab, contributing to her multidisciplinary background. Olivia’s career in mental health has also sparked a passion for social and health justice, evident through the volunteer and advocacy work she’s done in Boston.
